    We started today in Idaho Falls where Tom put some new hubcaps on the Dodge.

      I was coming down with a cold, so we stopped off at the Bella Vita cafe so that I could pick up a smoothie.

      I had a tasty berry smoothie and Tom and I shared a veggie wrap.

    Tom broke his biggest soda ever record with a 64 ounce mountain dew which was too big to fit in our cup holders.

    We made up a car game called country-o with bingo cards for every time a song on the radio mentions words like whisky, backroads, bare feet and backroads.

    We then drove north through Montana.

    We stopped for lunch in Butte, a strange little copper boom town in the hills.

      We went to the Hummingbird Cafe which was really lovely with lots of great food and juices.

      I tried the Hummingbird Elixir juice which was filled with ginger, really spicy and perfect for my cold.

      I also had a portabello sandwich which came with a tasty pasta salad.

      We then went to see Evel Knievel's grave which was in the cemetery in town.

      There was a rocket on one side of the grave and his bike on the other.

    On the way out we spotted Our Lady Of The Rockies up in the mountains.

      We then drove for another few hundred miles until we reached the Canadian border where they stamped our passports and waved us through.
