Dave and Megan have been running an Extreme Co-Working week at Camp where everyone is invited to come and work, drink Red Bull and watch Vin Diesel movies. We headed along for a while this morning.
Afterwards we headed up to the DMV to get some plates for our car. We used a coin to twist the screws on and off.
We then had a super quick and super cheap bite to eat at Taco Bell for lunch.
At some points, the Missouri had flooded so close to the motorway that there were sandbags pilled up high on either side.
We then decided to go on a quick adventure and drove up to North Omaha, getting as far as Blair.
We then headed over the bridge to Iowa.
There was nothing but corn fields for miles and miles with so many butterflies flying over them.
We then took a turn down a stoney road which seemed like a good idea until there were signs saying the surface was about to end.
You could see that the road was flooded way off in the distance. We ended up having to take a 40 mile detour to get back to Omaha.
We stopped off at Mall of the Bluffs in Iowa on the way home.
There wasn't a lot to see, so we jumped back in the car.
We then headed back to Camp for a little more co-working. Megan was busy preparing for her fashion show. I made a DIY The Look for @[137095272977526:Gala Darling].
In the evening we were invited along to Megan, aka @[70155447424:Princess Lasertron]'s Secret Fashion Show.
The show was being hosted at the House Of Loom, a new club which was very fancy and right next to our loft.
There were sketches of the new collection dotted around the club along with cakes from @[113345162035197:Bliss Old Market Bakery].
The show was fantastic and the dresses were so pretty.
We also got to meet lots of interesting new people and the cocktails had absinthe in.
