  1. Checkin at Harrods
    1. Edit

Today started off a little bit rainy, so we headed to Harrods, where I still had money from my macaroon birthday gift card to spend.

    2. Edit

We headed straight to the toy section, where they had Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett and Debbie Harry Barbies.

    3. Edit

The @[107566302606873:Twilight] Barbies made us giggle.

    4. Edit

We were impressed by the pretty sparkly chandeliers.

    5. Edit

Tom liked the lights for the elevators.

    6. Edit

We ended up spending our voucher on a mini @[112238775459592:Paddington Bear], who comes in a tin suitcase and some yummy chocolate.

  2. Checkin at Green Park
    1. Edit

We walked back in to town through Green Park.

    2. Edit

I’ve never noticed the equestrian traffic lights before, which are really high up so you can push the button while on horseback.

  3. Checkin at Smythson
    1. Edit

We then went for a look around the stationery museum, which is hidden at the back of the @[58561382200:Smythson of Bond Street].

    2. Edit

They had old dance books, so you could note down who you danced with for each song – I really want to make one of these.

    3. Edit

The thing I fell in love with was the purple Secretaire stationery box, which has drawers for all your unanswered mail and unpaid bills… but at £5,145, it’s something I’ll have to live without.

  4. Checkin at Carluccio's
    1. Edit

In the evening we went for dinner at Carluccio’s in St Pancras and I had pumpkin risotto, which was so yummy. They’d had a chocolate train there a few days earlier but it had already been eaten, so we didn’t get to see it.
