    Tom and I got a chance to go exploring around Paris on our own today. We found a mini Statue of Liberty on the Seine.

      We went up the Eiffel Tower and there was a post office, so we wrote and sent off our postcards.

      There was a really nice view though it was a little bit misty.

    Afterwards we took a boat along the Seine.

    The river seems really pretty but, when you’re under the bridges, you can see all of the homeless people sleeping there.

      We stayed on until we reached Notre Dame and then got off for an explore.

      It was very ornate but there were lots of scary people and scammers around the area.

      We then went to see the Pompidou centre.

      When then headed up to L’Opera to see the Christmas lights being turned on.

      We met up with Alistair and he took us to Shakespeare & Company, a really cool bookshop which has been in a few movies.

      They have beds in the shop where writers can stay for free, if they promise to help out in the shop for a few hours.

    We then went for a meal at another crepe restaurant then went to see @[105708079464132:Scoop] at the cinema. It's funny the way the French audience and us laughed at different points of the film.
