Tom and I went for breakfast at Fifteen this morning.

I had poached eggs on sourdough bread with field mushrooms, tomatoes and a side of baked beans. I also had a smoothie with ginger and oats which was really spicy.

On the hunt for something fun to do, we gave our TopSee app a shake and found a pub that serves foaming pints of ale in tankards.

The nice bar lady put my coke in a tankard too which worked well as it kept my drink nice and cold.

We shook TopSee again and ended up at Dose where you can get the best espresso in London.

Tom had a double espresso and said that he didn't think "coffee could taste like that". He looked really amazed.

We then hunted out The Three Kings which has the best pub sign in London with Henry VIII, King Kong and Elvis on.

We posed for photos outside the tattoo shop Into You.

TopSee then told us to go to St. John's bakery for London's best eccles cake. I hadn't had one before but it was really good.

We then went to Westminster to see if we could get in to parliament. There's usually a two hour queue we were told but today there was none, so we walked straight in.

We got our photos taken for visitor passes.

We got to sit in on the House of Commons and the House of Lords but our phones and cameras were taken off us, so I couldn't take photos. It looks just like it does on TV though.

We went for a drink in the MPs cafe afterwards where they had the most amazing looking cupcakes but I was too full to try one. I wonder if we can come back without queuing?!

We met up with Tony when he finished work and went for a drink to discuss him moving in to the Mews.

We then went for Thai food at Busaba Eathai. We had to squeeze on a little bench next to other diners but the food was really good.

In the evening we were off to Punk, a club I've wanted to go to for the launch of a book called New Club Kids. We stayed for one free drink before heading home to pack.
