Today was the Royal Wedding so we got up at 7.30 and heading to Green Park where they had set up big screens to broadcast the ceremony.
We set ourselves up on picnic blankets and had brought along lots of yummy brunch supplies and sparkling wine.
There was an amazing atmosphere as the wedding started with everyone cheering, waving flags and singing God Save The Queen.
We spotted @[36887428083:Michel Roux] outside The Ritz as we were leaving the park.
We made our way through the crowded streets to Trafalgar Square, where we were just in time to see the Kate & William on the balcony to watch the flyover.
Afterwards we relaxed with a glass of Royal Pimms and various Royal beers in the Salisbury.
We then walked through Soho where there were lots of Union Jacks and drag queens dressed as Kate.
We picked up lunch from Otarian. This time I went for the tex-mex burger which was really really tasty.
We ate our lunch in St James's Park where there were still parades of horses coming from the palace.
We had Royal @[164637406881430:Humming bird] cupcakes for dessert. My one had a Union Jack on and Tom's one had a crown on.
We then walked up the mall where there were still loads of people waiting to see the Royal family.
The press building was three floors high and there were dozens of reporters standing in a line reporting live.
They were taking in the coverings from the balcony as we arrived.
We stopped by Westminster Abbey on the way home and Westminster was covered in Union Jacks.
