Today we took part in the Facebook Hackathon which was held at the fancy Dare offices near Oxford Circus.

I had an idea for a cool sharing system for @[117550291606332:Cut Out + Keep] a few weeks ago, so when we heard about this contest, we thought it would be the perfect thing to work on. Tony joined our team to lend his support.

We found it a little hard to concentrate in the Dare offices so we snuck off to the @[121138127106:LEAP ANYWHERE] offices where I was distracted by the gold fish.

We finished our project after a few houses. The application lets you share projects on CO+K which are tagged with things like Twilight, Hello Kitty or Lady Gaga with your Facebook friends who like those things.

We headed back to the Dare Offices where @[68310606562:Mark Zuckerberg] (the 26-year-old billionaire who started Facebook) had just flown in from San Francisco and we got to show him @[117550291606332:Cut Out + Keep] and our application, which was so awesome.

He was really nice and made time for us, even though his minders kept trying to rush him on.

It was then time to present our idea to the judging panel. Awesome news, we were one of the three winners, meaning that we get to present at the big Facebook conference tomorrow.
