Holland Park never fails to cheer me up on a dull day in London.

We didn’t have too much to do today, so we avoided the busy shops and headed for peace and quiet (with sushi and whoopie pies) in the Kyoto garden.

Within the first five minutes of sitting down, we were surrounded by wildlife. The squirrels sat between us on the bench, eating peanuts straight from the bag. The peacocks stood at our feet and the pigeon and a little robin sat on the back of the bench. It was like being in a Disney movie.
