Today we had our interview with the American Embassy to find out if we'd be allowed to stay for six months. We weren't allowed to take our phones or any electronics and after we were herded through heavy security, we sat and waited and waited until it was our turn. They asked us lots of questions about why we were going, how we could afford it and how they could ensure we were coming back but they approved us, gave us a wink and told us to have fun!
