    I've been decluttering my room and it's starting to look very neat and tidy. I can't believe how many boxes I've thrown out.

      Our last day back in Scotland was spent with my parents in Edinburgh. We went for breakfast in an amazing little cafe called the Roseleaf down in Leith.

      It’s full of quirky little touches, such as menus binding inside copies of National Geographic and hardback books, candles in teacups and mismatched tableware.

      The food was delicious too. We had waffles, pilled with caramelised bananas and sampled the applewood mac n cheese.

      After breakfast we walked to Ocean Terminal and caught a bus in to town.

      I got a super cute robot headphone splitter which will come in very handy on the train home tomorrow. I also bought two boxes of reduced Christmas cards, which I'll pack away with the decorations ready to send out next year.
