      We had a lazy morning today, after waking up oddly refreshed, before heading in to town to see the New Year's Day parade along Piccadilly. It was strangely American.

      Tom bought me an awesome red star @[417222104201:Cath Kidston] umbrella. It's really lightweight and perfect for toting around in my bag.

      We went to Selfridges to try and find the new issue of @[28616033676:Sew Hip] magazine which we're in but they didn't have it in stock yet. They did have an amazing @[24652532928:Vivienne Westwood] window display. I want it all, especially the Westwood baubles for our xmas tree.

    We walked back home and made dinner, unpacked and tidied up the Mews. I finished knitting the hood for my scarf and it's looking really good.
