    While we slept, “snowmageddon” hit New York and we woke up to find the city covered in thick snow. We weren’t going to let that spoil our fun though! Paul (who’s Tom’s 2nd cousin’s husband) joined us for breakfast and shared his NY tips. I had my first peanut butter and jelly sandwich and I can see the appeal.

      After breakfast, we battled the snow and walked up 5th Avenue. I imagined Carey running out of the New York Public Library in her Vivienne Westwood dress when we passed it.

      We then walked past Bryant Park, where New York Fashion Week was on. There were lots of cold looking models.

      Times Square was all pretty and lit up, like a big version of Piccadilly Circus, so we stopped to take photos.

      We couldn't resist having a peek in Trump Tower. It's just full of shops.

      Tom took me to Tiffany’s, which was so fancy and lovely. He told me to pick out the prettiest thing in the shop.

      Afterwards we went for a walk around Central Park, which was so snowy and magical.

    We walked around the Upper East side for a while before grabbing the subway downtown.

      We warmed up with pancakes and fries in a diner.

    After diner we walked down to Wall Street and had a coffee in a Starbucks near the World Trade Centre site.
