    Today we went for lunch at Little Venice, but the Narrowboat Cafe was just closing when we arrived, so out of desperation we headed in to a nearby pub.

      We're so glad we did because it turned out to be one of the best pubs ever. It was really cosy, covered in fairy lights, was playing @[105515746149949:Bright Eyes] and had fantastic food and drink.

      We warmed up with Winter Pimms with hot apple juice, mulled wine and hot chocolates. For lunch, Tom had a plate of camembert and I had a Spanish tortilla.

      I loved their lampshades too. I have similar beads at home, so I wonder if I could make one?!

      We stopped by Clifton Nurseries on the way home to pick up a Christmas tree. It's an amazing place, with a lot of history. It was all dark apart from the trees which were lit with fairy lights, which made it feel like a winter wonderland. The nurseries were huge with a florist, cafe, organic deli, huge glass houses and a Christmas ship.

    We picked the prettiest looking tree and carried it down the street. It looks huge in the Mews but we don’t have anything to decorate it with yet... better get crafting.
