Tom and I continued our New Year's Day tradition of treating ourselves to a nice brunch to kick off the year.
This year we were lucky enough to get a reservation at somewhere I've been desperate to try, the Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings.
Up near Exmouth Market, Bourne & Hollingsworth was just as beautiful as I had imagined - a giant warehouse space filled with log fires and plants.
I'd been a little cheeky when I booked and asked to sit in the greenhouse because I'd seen pictures of how lovely it was.
We ended up with the whole place to ourselves.
Once we'd taken in the surroundings, it was time to get down to brunch business and I ordered an Apple Bellini while Tom had the Maverick with gin, ChariTea and an IPA grapefruit shrub.
To eat, I ordered pancakes topped with caramelised bananas and toasted hazelnuts and Tom had Eggs Royale.
After brunch, I explored a little more finding even more beautiful spaces including another plant filled room and super rustic bathrooms with an old bath repurposed into sinks.
