By Chloe top their vegan mac n cheese with super tasty shiitake bacon, so I attempted to recreate it at home.

I sliced the mushrooms really thin, dowsed them in liquid smoke and sea salt and then baked them until they were crispy.

A large carton of mushrooms shrivelled down pretty small but the finished result was tasty and went perfectly on top of my miso mac n cheese.
