I had tickets for BUILD LDN, an online TV series where they interview guests in front of a tiny audience, and today's guest was Katherine Ryan.

Before the show started the asked the audience if anyone had a question, but nobody else seemed to know who she was, so I was brave and asked when she first realised she was funny.

In the evening, we were invited to tour The House Of Dreams, somewhere I've been wanting to visit for a while.

Down in Dulwich, The House Of Dreams is home to artist Steven Wright who has transformed the bottom floor into an art project, museum and shrine to memories.

We started in the garden, which was equally as impressive, with mosaic paths, concrete arches and dolls and toys adorning every possible space.

As we made our way into the house, the walls, ceiling and floor of the corridor were filled with handwritten stories of Steven's memories.

Things became very colourful as we made our way into the main rooms of the house.

Concrete arches lead your around the rooms, making it feel like walking through a maze or grotto.

Though there was so much to see, the souvenirs and toys were mainly embedded in the walls to create a mosaic, giving the art a tidy and curated feel.

Steven was lovely and took us upstairs to his peaceful apartment, which was surprisingly minimal compared to downstairs, aside from a few pieces of his art. We sipped tea and he was full of stories, just like the walls of the house.

The house is open to the public a few times a year and I can't recommend visiting enough, photos could never do it justice. Some of Stevens work is also for sale in the back of the house.

We headed to Peckham Rye afterwards and went for cocktails at Batch.

It was lovely inside with hanging vines from the ceiling and storybook murals on the wall. The waitress even brought us "welcome prosecco" while we read the menu.

We then went for dinner at Mr Bao, a Taiwanese restaurant specialising in bao buns with unusual fillings.

I ordered a Lychee Daiquiri with rum and lychee liqueur to drink while Tom tried a Taiwanese Root Beer.

We started with some sweet potato chips, which came with a super tasty wasabi mayo and ginger & garlic edame.

One of the Special's of the Month were prawn dumplings with a honey miso dipping sauce.

We then tucked into the buns with Teriyaki Shiitake, Tofu and Drunken Prawn Baos.
