The Asylum Chapel in Peckham was supposed to have an open night this evening and we really wanted to check it out but when we arrived it was in use for a photoshoot.

On the plus side, there was a lovely little cat outside who we got to meet.

As we were already out and about in South London, we decided to go for a Date Night in East Dulwich, starting with dinner at Yama Momo.

We started by ordering cocktails and an amazing smell filled the bar. I had my fingers crossed that it would be my cocktail and it was.

It was a Royal Dynasty with elderflower blossom vodka, rose water, rose jam, aloe vera & longan juice, topped with rosé champagne and homemade strawberry sorbet.

It was even topped with a fortune cookie which said "Do Not Mistake Temptation For Opportunity".

Tom had a Korean Umeshu Fashion, which was like an Old Fashioned with ginseng whisky.

We then ordered a Tiger Roll, with shrimp tempura and avocado, topped with seared salmon, spicy mayo and unagi sauce.

We also had some tuna and truffle mayo maki which was really good.

On the side we shared some udon with soy and dashi sauce.

We then headed to the East Dulwich Picturehouse to see American Animals.
