    1. Edit

We headed to St Katharine's Docks this morning for brunch at Dokke.

    2. Edit

The menu was a mix of British and Asian fusion dishes and it all sounded amazing.

    3. Edit

We also had the Cheesy Name, an omelette with raclette cheese, herbs and fig chutney.

  2. Checkin at St Katharine Docks Marina
    1. Edit

It was the Classic Boat Festival in St Katherine's Docks so there were lots of boats in the marina to hop aboard and explore.

We hopped onto one of the Metropolitan Police boats. Their headquarters is based just a few streets away in Wapping.

    1. Edit

Gloriana, the Queen's row barge, is usually parked up in St Katherine's Docks but today you could get up close to it and admire the gold lions.

  8. Checkin at The White Swan & Cuckoo
    1. Edit

We then popped into The White Swan & Cuckoo to meet their pub cat Biscuits, who was ginger and adorable.

    2. Edit

The other pub cat, Tea was nowhere to be seen, so I guess we'll just have to come back for another drink so we can meet them both.

  9. Edit

We then wandered back to St Katherine's Docks which was a really pretty walk along the canal.

  11. Checkin at The Medieval Banquet, London
    1. Edit

Located in St Katherine's Docks, stepping through the doors of Medieval Banquet is like stepping back in time with suits of armour guarding the doors.

You then make your way down into an underground cellar with tables set up in arches and the King sitting pride of place in the middle of the room.

    4. Edit

Once seating, the wine and ale runs freely, while a talented troupe of acrobats, jugglers and contortionists kept you entertained.

The first course was soup, served with no cutlery and a giant loaf of bread, so you can slurp it up the old fashioned way.

The guests are encouraged to bang their forks on the table in anticipation for food and shout "wench" to get the waitresses attention.

    9. Edit

The show continues throughout the courses with singing, processions and music performed.

Dinner was served with a song and an actor dressed as a pig, rotating in a table carried by a procession.

    12. Edit

While others tucked into a meaty feast, the vegetarians were provided with a delicious roast vegetable dish.

    13. Edit

A duel was declared just as dessert was being served so we enjoyed a spot of sword fighting while tucking into warm apple pie with ice cream.

    14. Edit

The evening concluded with a sing along at out tables before the entire audience were encourage to stand up and join in the dancing.

  12. Checkin at Tower Bridge
    1. Edit

Tom and I walked home over Tower Bridge, tempted fate by stopping to take a photo in the middle, with a foot on either side of the opening.
