      For Christmas, my Uncle Bruce wanted to treat the family to meal, so we went to Cafe Tabou. The food was delicious as always. I started with mussels and salmon.

      I then had an artichoke pastry parcel, which was really tasty.

      For dessert, I had an orange and cinnamon creme brulee, which I will give 10/10! Tom had a Ferrero Rocher cheesecake.

      Afterwards we dropped my Mum and Nana off for a coffee while we headed to the golf driving range. It was Tom’s first time but he was really good at it by the end. It’s addictive but it was too cold to play for more than half an hour.

      We warmed up back at the Pillars Of Hercules with some drinks and nibbles. They had a delicious seed salad the last time I was in so I asked if they had any, which they didn’t but they shared their recipe with me.

    We got to go through the carwash on the way home. I asked my Dad if we could go through the carwash on one of my birthdays when I was little.

    We attempted to make the seed salad when we got home. It’s basically pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, linseed and sunflower seeds roasted in the oven and mixed with a little maple syrup and oil. It was then time to say goodbye to my parents and head to Tom’s house in preparation for going back to London.
