  1. Checkin at Brunswick House
    1. Edit

There's an old mansion called Brunswick House in Vauxhall which looks really out of place among the tall modern buildings and busy traffic intersection.

It's part restaurant and part antique store, so we headed along to explore and have brunch this morning.

    4. Edit

We sat in the gorgeous chandelier filled dining rooms and admired all of the antiques while waiting for our food.

    5. Edit

I had the honey & miso granola topped with yogurt, berries and bee pollen. I really like the taste of bee pollen - I need to get some to experiment with!

Tom tucked into gingerbread which was toasted with salted butter and tasted so good that I want to go back and order some for myself.

There was an amazing clock from an old clock tower in Paris which I loved but it cost £1500.

  2. Checkin at Vauxhall Gardens

We wandered over to Vauxhall Park afterwards and picked up some cannoli to eat from the Parco Cafe.

    2. Edit

There was a village of minature houses hidden among the flowers.

We had plans to venture out to Eel Pie Island afterwards but there was a problem on the tube line and the train was re-rerouted to Kew Bridge.

  5. Checkin at The Botanist Brewery & Kitchen - Convivial London Pubs
    1. Edit

We stopped for a drink at The Botanist where they had gin from Kew Gardens blended using botanicals from their greenhouses.

    2. Edit

It was served with elderflower tonic and rose petals which looked so pretty.

  6. Checkin at The Cheese Wheel london
    1. Edit

Afterwards, we caught the Overground up to Camden Road so that we could go to the Kerb street food market and use my voucher for The Cheese Wheel.

    2. Edit

They make and roll the pasta fresh at The Cheese Wheel before cooking it with a sauce and then spin it in a giant wheel of parmesan.

    3. Edit

We sat on the canal afterwards and tucked into our bowl of pasta topped with mushrooms and parsley. It was delicious and I'd love to go back for more.

  7. Edit

We spotted a Banksy on the bridge over the canal.

  8. Checkin at Carreras Cigarette Factory
    1. Edit

On our way down to Mornington Crescent Station, we passed by the Carreras Cigarette Factory which is guarded by two huge cats.
