      Today we decided to walk along the canal to Camden. The last time we did the full walk was when we were on holiday in 2006 and that was when we discovered Maida Vale and realised we wanted to live here.

    There are lots of interesting things to see along the way. You can see in to the aviary at the zoo which has pelicans, peacocks and flamingos. It was pretty dark by the time we were approaching Camden.

      The stables markets have changed so much since the last time we had a look around there are so many horses everywhere now.

      We went for a drink in a cool little pub called the Black Heart which serves Brooklyn beer. The decor was Day Of The Dead style, with sugar skulls and crosses everywhere.

      We headed in to town after to grabbed some sushi and Japanese cakes and to do some shopping.

      We then went for a drink at The Bowery (which use to be The Fly bar) before heading home.
