We headed down to Peckham this morning to go to the Peckham Salvage Yard.

The salvage yard was a lot more up our street than the car boot sale last week, with lots of awesome antiques and reclaimed old signs.

We headed up to the rooftop bar on the Bussey Building afterwards, which had just reopened for the summer.

There was a heatwave in London so it felt more like being in LA as we sat looking at the skyline.

It was also the perfect opportunity for my first glass of Pimms of the summer.

We went for lunch at John The Unicorn afterwards.

The house cocktails were all named after famous unicorns and I ordered the glittery Buttercup with Olmeca Blanco, honey, bitters and mezcal.

It was the perfect weather for a salad so I tucked into a dish of feta, giant couscous and cucumber.

In the evening, we headed to Bounce for Priscilla's birthday party.

My memories of ping pong from school were having to run to get the ball every few seconds, but this was a lot more fun as we had big buckets of balls to play with and fetchers who would collect all the strays.
