  1. Checkin at Pimlico
    1. Edit

We wandered up to Pimlico this morning for breakfast and to explore the area.

    2. Edit

There were so many pretty rainbow doors and I kept holding us up taking photos of them.

There was a very ornate ventilation shaft outside the station designed by Eduardo Paolozzi.

  2. Edit

We treated ourselves to brunch at The Cambridge Street Kitchen, where we were in good company when Eddie Izzard came in after his jog, complete with runny mascara.

I ordered a rose latte and took in the gorgeous decor. We loved their Toffs Love Dogs print.

I then tucked into the granola bowl with yoghurt, mango, raspberries, blueberries and coconut flakes.

  7. Checkin at Pimlico Academy
    1. Edit

Tom had been saying he'd never been to a carboot sale and wanted to check one, out so we popped into the Capital Carboot Sale in the grounds of Pimlico Academy.

    2. Edit

We soon realised that most people were selling things that nobody really wanted but didn't want to throw away because someone, someday, might want to buy it.

  8. Checkin at cave
    1. Edit

Still on the hunt for treasures, we headed to Cave, an antique store, art space and cafe.

  9. Checkin at unknown place
    1. Edit

Tom was keen to watch the F1, so we headed to Cask so he could find a quite spot to watch the race.

    2. Edit

I don't usually order beer but this Chia Milkshake Pale Ale from Four Pure was too tempting and tasted delicious.

  10. Checkin at The Roastery
    1. Edit

We were out of coffee so we popped into The Roastery to pick up some beans for work tomorrow.

    2. Edit

We tried their Roasting Mix blend along with some pistachio cookies.

  11. Edit

We headed down to Brixton on the Overground afterwards and headed to Pop Brixton to find something for lunch.

  13. Checkin at Mama's Jerk
    1. Edit

We ended up getting a salt fish wrap from Mama's Jerk along with some fried plantain. It was topped with fresh coconut, jerk spices and a fruity sauce which tasted amazing.
