I tucked into the quinoa, kale and butternut cakes which were pretty spicy and served with chilli & lemon goats curd, toasted pistachios and lingonberry dressing.

    4. Edit

Tom had beetroot cured salmon on toast with a side of potato salad.

  3. Checkin at Alexander Fleming Laboratory Museum
    1. Edit

We then got a little tour of the lab where Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin at St Mary's Hospital for a feature in our Paddington video.

We spent the rest of the afternoon working in the courtyard at Java U with delicious ice coffee.

We then caught the tube down to Brixton after work.

  6. Edit

We popped into Book Mongers to check out the books and look for their dog, but found out that he has passed away.

  7. Edit

Tom treated himself to his first ever comic, Couch Fiction, a graphic novel about psychotherapy.

  8. Checkin at Three Little Birds
    1. Edit

I was really keen to try some Jamaican food, so we went for dinner at Three Little Birds.

    2. Edit

It was Happy Hour when we arrived so we ordered some half price cocktails with a Rum Sour for me and a Ginger Daiquiri for Tom.

    4. Edit

We started with the pumpkin croquettes which were delicious, especially with the crumbly hazelnut drizzle.

    5. Edit

Next came the plantain with ginger, honey and lime. Tom absolutely hates the taste of banana, so I was worried he wouldn't like them but he loved them, saying they tasted more like potato than fruit.

    6. Edit

We then shared the salmon and some rice and peas. The salmon was served in a beetroot pesto jerk which was delicious and not too spicy at all.

  9. Checkin at Ms. Cupcake
    1. Edit

We stocked up on vegan treats and ingredients at Ms Cupcake next door afterwards.
