Acton Depot is basically an overflow of the London Transport Museum, filled with all the trains, buses and giant things that wouldn't fit anywhere else.

I liked that if you stood next to a bus for a couple of minutes, someone would come along and start reeling off it's history to you.

Upstairs in the depot were aisles and aisles full of signs.

Roundels and tube trains aside, the real reason we went to the open day was to check out the tube antiques for sale in the shop and this time, Tom managed to bag himself an old train drivers seat and a Holland Park sign.

We caught a cab home with our purchases and then took a walk down to Vauxhall where there was a lovely sunset.
