At the weekend Tom and I walked along the canal to Camden, so today we continued our journey. We started at Camden Lock and walked east towards Angel. There was lots to see along the way agin, including a man dancing with sticks.
We veered off the canal at Camley Street to have a look around St Pancras churchyard and around the Camley Street Natural Park, where we didn’t see much nature but there was a good view over the building work that’s going on at Kings Cross.
Afterwards we headed back to the canal and walked along to Islington.
We stopped for coffee and a chocolate tart at the Euphorium Bakery. Tom told me that they tweet when baking comes out of the oven. They had really good samples on the counter, so make sure to pop in if you’re passing.
We then had a few plates of sushi at Yo! Sushi.
In the evening we headed off to “Silicon Roundabout” at Old Street for the Facebook Developer Garage at TechHub.
There was pizza, beer, t-shirts, Facebook glasses and various talks on Facebook and getting rich from YouTube.
In the bar afterwards, I got to chat to @[36903991:Jack Riley], who manages social media at The Independent. He has an awesome idea for typewriters which I hope works out for him.
The talks ran really late so we treated ourselves to midnight milkshakes at Tinsel Town Diner. I had peanut M&M milkshake while Tom had a Snickers one.
