      One of the main reasons we chose to stay at Brooks Hotel was because they always do such a good breakfast, and this morning was no exception, when I tucked into an overnight oatmeal bowl and fresh smoothie.

      I met Tom at lunchtime and we went to The Early Bird Coffee & Tea House.

      It was quite a cute new cafe with bean bags in the back.

      Tom had a panini while I tucked into a pistachio chimney cake with a matcha latte.

    A gorgeous ghost sign had been uncovered across the road on Gilmore Place. I love the pink against the green tiles.

      In the evening we went for dinner at Tuk Tuk with Izzy, Paul, Pamela and her new squeeze.

      I ordered the butter paneer and peshwari naan, which are my two favourites. Though the paneer was a little too spicy for me.

      I also tried some puri yoghurt bombs filled with chickpeas and tamarind which were pretty yummy.

      We headed to the secret booth in Bennet's afterwards so we could have a few drinks while interrogating Pamela's new guy friend in a tightly confined space.
