      We went for dinner at Canova Hall down in Brixton this evening.

      The restaurant is in a gorgeous old art deco department store with huge windows and lots of industrial details.

      We started with cocktails and I had a Hazelnut Espresso while Tom had the Met Manhattan with bourbon, Grand Marnier, butterscotch schnapps, bitters and orange juice.

      For dinner, I had the beetroot gnocchi with pistachio pesto, walnuts, rocket and sage.

      Tom had Smokey Rigatoni with smoked scarmoza, pistachio, salsa di noci, kale and rosemary.

      Tom's always joking about how he wants to go to an Adventure Bar so we finally went to one in Clapham afterwards.

      It was 2 for 1 on cocktails so we started with the 50 Shades Of Earl Grey.

      Our next cocktail came topped with fortune cookies. I was sad when my cookie didn't have a fortune but didn't mind so much after reading Tom's fortune.
