      We haven't been to The Crobar in years and years and years, so we popped in for a drink after work today.

      I was so glad that they still serve root beer, so I could order my antiseptic marzipan cocktail of amaretto topped with root beer.

    Next we ended up at 68 and Boston for cocktails and nibbles.

    Tom had an iced tea while I had an old fashioned. We also tucked into some anchovies on toast.

      Our next stop was Garlic & Shots, a bar that serves food with garlic and 101 flavours of vodkas.

      I couldn't resist trying a shot of garlic vodka and it was strangely delicious, though it made me self conscious about my breath for the rest of the night.

      We were feeling really hungry while we waited for Pamela, so we tried some garlic potato skins which were amazing.

      Pamela arrived and we ended up at Kua 'Aina for Hawaiin food.

      It was super cute with postcard wallpaper, pin-up girl lampshades and rainbow stairs.

      I was so excited to see they served tuna steaks and tucked into the seared ahi tuna burger with a side of sweet potato fries.
