Mum & Dad are visiting for the weekend, so while Tom was still at work, we popped out for lunch.

We ended up at our local Buddhist centre, Jamyang which has a really pretty courtyard garden and vegan cafe.

We tucked into amazing beetroot veggie burgers served with four different salads. I'll definetly be coming back for lunch more often.

Afterwards I took Dad for a Unicorn Freakshake at Cupcakes and Shhht.

It was sparkly blue and pink then topped with ice cream, a cupcake and drizzled in chocolate sauce.

Tom met us after work and we headed up to Kentish Town for drinks at Ladies & Gentlemen, the cocktail bar in former public toilets.

It was fun helping Mum & Dad pick cocktails to try. Dad finished his in just a few sips.

Our final stop was Loving Hut for some amazing vegan Chinese food.

We ordered all our favourites and tried some gyoza too. Dad ordered some chilli beef which was amazing and is my new favourite dish. I can't wait to come back and order some for myself.
