We took Pamela for brunch at Palm Vaults up at Hackney Downs this morning.

It was so hard to pick with so much tasty stuff on the menu, but I picked a lavender latte and Pamela had a pretty pale blue butterfly tea latte.

I then had fig and walnut banana bread topped with espresso creme fraiche and quinoa brittle. It was delicious and looked so pretty topped with panseys.

We couldn't resist getting some cakes afterwards and I had a rose & lychee macaron.

  2. Checkin at unknown place

It was Ola's 30th birthday and Bea had arranged a surprise party for him at the Princess Of Wales. He hates parties, so he thought he was just meeting Tom for a drink.

  3. Checkin at God's Own Junkyard
    1. Edit

Afterwards we took Pamela to Gods Own Junkyard to check out the neon signs.

I always get so much inspiration for new crafts to make with EL wire when I visit and I was itching to go home and make my own neon sign.

The neon sausage doll eating sausages was my favourite.

We also shared some veggie samosas.

  5. Checkin at Worship Street Whistling Shop
    1. Edit

We then headed back into the city and ended up at the Worship Street Whistling Shop.

    2. Edit

The bar was a cosy little speakeasy which reminded me of Narnia with old street lights in the middle of the room.

    3. Edit

My cocktail came served in a glass whale and was made from vodka, oak pecan & waffle syrup and hop soda.

We ended the night with dinner at Pizza Buzz, a fast food joint that's similar to Subway but for pizza.

As tempted as I was to make my own pizza, The Burrata sounded so good as it came with mozzarella, burrata, mushroom, walnuts, thyme and truffle oil.
