We stopped off at VX to have some vegan junk food for lunch.

All the food sounded amazing and I tried a vegan doner because I've never had a kebab before and Tom tucked into a tasty vegan hot dog.

As well as being a cafe, VX also has a deli where you can buy all kinds of vegan products and meat substitutes. I filled up a basket with new ingredients to try out.

Joe had told me about a really cool little bookshop on a barge called Word On The Water.

It was lovely and so cosy inside, with a wood burning fire and comfy sofas where you could sit and read.

It made me want to live on a houseboat even more one day, though I think my book collection might have sunk this barge.

I was looking through a book called My Cool Houseboat when I flipped onto a page featuring Word On The Water.

In contrast to the calm of the book barge, we caught the tube down to Knightsbridge and had a look around Harrods.

The toy section was our favourite and they had a giant model of the store made out of Lego.

Back in Mayfair, we perked ourselves up with a coffee at H R Higgins.

H R Higgins is a merchant shop where you can buy coffee beans and tea leaves by the gram upstairs, with a cosy little cafe downstairs.

Afterwards we headed to The Luggage Room at the Marriott in Grosvenor Square.

The bar is in the old luggage room of the hotel and the walls look like suitcases.

We had vouchers for the Lumiere London Cocktail Trail to use up and they'd created a special cocktail for the festival.

We then headed to Lanes Of London to use up more of our vouchers.

This bar had a choice of cocktails, so we tried one of each and tucked into the tasty free bar nibbles.
