I spent the night in Burntisland last night so that I could visit my Nana today and we set off on a trip to South Queensferry, meaning that I'd get a chance to drive over the new Queensferry Crossing bridge.

We stopped off at the farm shop at Hopetoun House where I bought lots of stocking stuffers and then we went for a look around the garden centre.

We had a cup of tea in The Orangery cafe which was really pretty.

There were dozens of bird feeders outside swarming with little birds. I could have stayed and watched them for hours but my feet got so cold.

We then headed down to The Three Bridges for fish & chips before it was time for me to catch a train into Edinburgh, pick up Tom and catch the train home to London.
