Halloween is on Tuesday this year, giving us the excuse to make it an almost week long celebration and Tom came home with special spooky macarons from Laduree as a treat.

Tonight with Sarah & Joe's party and Tom and I decided to dress up as characters from Twin Peaks.

Tom was Agent Cooper with slicked back hair, FBI badge and damn fine cup of coffee, while I was the Log Lady with geeky glasses and a homemade log.

I even baked a special Double R Diner style cherry pie for the occassion.

Sarah & Joe had done an amazing job of decorating their flat with spiderwebs, bloody windows and carved pumpkins.

Though Joe had to struggle not to destroy all of the decorations with his giant inflatable T-Rex costume.

Luckily, Joe had planned a Twin Peaks costume change halfway through the night into Dougie Jones from the new series. We were so surprised because we had no idea that we would all end up as Twin Peaks characters.
