Tonight was our Christmas Party for our friends, so I spent the day crafting and cooking in preparation.

I started by making Christmas crackers, filled with bad jokes, Chocolate bitcoins and cracker prizes.

I made charm bracelets for the ladies and we got London keyrings for the guys.

It was then time to prepare the food. I baked a wreath of vegetarian sausage rolls, giant plate of mince pies and popped on a pan of mulled wine to heat up with lots of spices and fruit.

I made a macaron tower with white chocolate macarons for our good guests and coal macarons for our bad ones.

Mel had baked a Nutella Christmas tree which was delicious.

I'd treated myself to a tea set as an early Christmas present and it had arrived just in time for our party, so I filled the teapot with a cocktail of ginger liqueur, orange liqueur and gin to be served with chilled prosecco.

Jenny gave me a movie matching game for Christmas, which was the perfect party game to play.

Tom then enlisted the help of all our friends to sing on our new Christmas song and some of the musical ones even recording guitar, drum and flute solos.

To take away, I'd made everyone little boxes of rum balls that looked like Brussels sprouts. Tom helped me design a hipster logo sticker for them.
