It was a nice crisp and sunny day, so we decided to take a drive around South London when we ended up at London's last remaining toll road.

  2. Edit

Intrigued, we decided to pay the £1.20 toll to see what was up the road. It turned out to be very little.

    1. Edit

We stopped off at Mamma Dough in Honor Oak Park for lunch.

    2. Edit

I had the Beatrice pizza with mozzarella, butternut squash, feta, pine nuts and rosemary. Tom had the John O’ Goat with goat’s cheese, caramelised onion, olives and walnuts.

It was then time to pick up this year's Christmas Tree so we headed to Pines & Needles at Herne Hill.

  6. Edit

Tom picked a gigantic 8 foot fir and I was so glad when it fit into Figgy. There was even a few snowdrops as we drove it home with the roof down while listening to Christmas songs.

Bobbin thought we'd brought back a forest for her to play in.

  9. Edit

Pines & Needles had thrown in some free mistletoe with our tree and Bobbin looked so kissable under it.

  10. Edit

We were feeling quite festive once we had put the lights on the tree, so I decided to crack open a bottle of mulled wine and use some of it to make spaghetti for dinner.
