My favourite part of our house is the top floor where you get a gorgeous view over the city, so I decided to make the most of the spot by adding a table and chairs so we can sit and admire the sky scrapers.

It's a lovely place to sit and have breakfast in the morning, or sip cocktails while watching the city light up at sunset.

I frothed up some turmeric lattes to toast our new space.

I became intrigued by the appeal of chicken and waffles after our meal at Absurd Bird the other night, so decided to make my own vegetarian version with Quorn chicken and cheddar waffles.
