  1. Checkin at The Cinema Museum
    1. Edit

As my Dad is such a huge film fan, we couldn't resist a visit to The Cinema Museum in Kennington while he was down.

We were greeted by two super enthusiastic employees dressed in vintage usher uniforms who couldn't wait to show us around.

Every wall was covered in vintage film memorabilia with old movie posters, black and white headshots of Hollywood stars and boards for the Now Showing letters.

Around the next corner was a hall with cabinets filled with old films and glamorous headshots of actors and actresses from the 50s.

We then made our way upstairs, stopping to read all the old movie posters.

    10. Edit

There was a hallway with a wall dedicated to Charlie Chaplin, as he'd lived in the building when it was still part of the old workhouse.

Upstairs was a huge hall with movie screens and a cafe.

We tucked into a giant slice of popcorn cake which was made with popcorn, pretzels and M&Ms stuck together with gooey marshmallow.

    15. Edit

I might have to steal this recipe for our next movie night.

    16. Edit

I loved how this wall looked covered in camera lenses.

    17. Edit

It was Home Movie Day at the museum and locals were invited to bring in old reels of home films to see if they could get them to play on the big screen.

    18. Edit

We stayed to watch a few home movies which were really good and then left my parents to watch even more while we ran errands.

  2. Edit

We headed into town to buy me a new phone, as my one had been pickpocketed the previous day in China Town.

  3. Checkin at Dillon's Coffee
    1. Edit

It started raining, so we hid away from the weather with coffee and cookies in Dillons Coffee.

  4. Edit

It was then time to meet up with Mum & Dad again but it was such a grey and foggy day that we decided we'd all be better off curled up in a cosy pub.

  5. Checkin at Yorkshire Grey
    1. Edit

We ended up next to the fire in the Yorkshire Grey, a super cosy pub in Bloomsbury with "snob windows" to hide the view of the bar.

    2. Edit

We spent the evening drinking wine next to the fire, before heading home so I could cook everyone ramen burgers for dinner.
