We went for breakfast at Farm Girl in Notting Hill this morning, a cafe known for serving Instagramable dishes.

We sat in the vine filled courtyard and it was so peaceful that we forgot we were just off the hectic tourist-filled Portobello Road.

Even our drinks were gorgeous and I sipped on a Butterfly Matcha with blue matcha powder and almond milk.

Tom had a Rose Latte with rose water infused milk & petals.

I ordered the berry buckwheat pancakes with strawberries, mint, coconut shavings, maple syrup and added bee pollen.

Tom had crab cakes with lime yoghurt and a tasty looking salad.

I then begged Tom to take me to my favourite place in the whole of London, Holland Park to feed the squirrels.

The park had been a little quite for squirrels over the hot summer but they were out in full force today, stocking up on nuts for the winters.

Tom managed to invent a new technique for feeding where the squirrels would end up suspended and swinging from his hand.

This technique certainly caught the attention of the other creatures in the park too.

We then popped into the Design Museum which is at the bottom of the park on High Street Kensington.

On the top floor, the museum was a collection of important design objects, from chairs and gadgets to street signs and tube maps.

It turned into a game of "got, got, not got" in the historic Apple product exhibition.

We stopped off at the Primrose Bakery afterwards for a gin & tonic cupcake and peanut butter milkshake.

I loved seeing the neon sign which is on the cover of one of their cookbooks I have at home.

We were invited to The Chocolate Show at the Olympia, so we popped in to check it out.

It was a giant food market for chocolate lovers with stalls selling everything chocolate and food trucks serving hot chocolate and cocktails.

There were live chocolate making demonstrations and cooking classes.

There was also a chocolate fashion show with dresses and shoes made from chocolate.

There was also an art gallery with famous sculptures and paintings recreated out of chocolate.

I particuarly liked the chocolate Banksy.

We popped across the road to the Hand & Flower afterwards from a prosecco and some truffle fries before heading home.
