      Mum and Dad are down in London to visit for the weekend. I've not been feeling too well but was determined to give them a nice day out none the less.

      We started off with drinks and nibbles on Tamesis Dock and then walked along to the South Bank for a cup of tea at the BFI.

      We then went to Maitre Choux in South Kensington to try some of the fanciest eclaires that I've ever seen.

      It was the Museum Late at the Natural History Museum so we headed along in the evening, meeting Tom after work.

      It was cool being in the museum at night, I felt like I was in the Paddington movie.

      I loved looking for all the carved animals hidden in the brickwork of the building.

      Glasses of wine in hand, we started looking around all the exhibits.

      There was a mummified cat upstairs.

      This locust holding a mouse was terrifying.

      We saved the dinosaurs for last, walking our way beneath the gigantic skeletons.

      These dinosaurs had feathers, fur and scales. They were adorable.
