The family are away on a trip to Hastings, so I had a quite day catching up on work and then met Tom for lunch in Soho.
We went to the Nordic Bakery famous for it's Scandinavian food and cinnamon rolls.
We had dark rye sandwiches to start, the prawn with boiled egg mayonnaise and Gravadlax with cured salmon, cucumber and mustard & dill dressing.
We had some cinnamon rolls for dessert and I could see what all the fuss was about.
I then had a meeting with Alex, the editor for London's Best Coffee Guide.
He asked me to pick the place so I chose Damson & Co, which was new to both of us.
I picked it so that I would get to try a charcoal latte which was pretty tasty. I loved how goth it looked.
I then had some time to kill in Soho before an appointment at the opticians. There's so much to see in Soho, so it was fun just wandering around and seeing what was new.
I stopped off for a drink at Stephen Street Kitchen inside the BFI's headquarters.
I sipped on a prosseco while eavesdropping on agents meeting with their clients and giving them advice on how to adapt their looks to get more roles.
On our way home, we headed to The Tankard where they were giving away free pints of Bear Tooth from Fourpure to celebrate opening the first keg.
