    1. Edit

The Imperial War Museum is really close to our house but we hadn't visited it before today and I'm glad we did because it was amazing.

The gardens in front are beautiful and there's a piece of the Berlin Wall in them.

    4. Edit

The museum is free to visit and there's an impressive display of suspended fighter jets in the entrance.

It was crazy to see news vans filled with bullet holes even though they were printed with "press" translated in every language.

They had the same Russian tank that my Grandad had driven during the war.

There was a really interesting and upsetting exhibition on the Holocaust I'd recommend going to see, though there was no photography allowed in that area so I can't show you.

They had one of the girders from the Twin Towers.

They didn't want bloggers taking photos but we got to see 16th century dresses that they'd reproduced and an amazing collection or ruffs.

    4. Edit

There was a huge library room filled with dressmaking books on the top floor of the school. I think they may have as many books as I do.

  3. Checkin at unknown place

I treated Grandma to afternoon tea at Voltaire in Blackfriars afterwards.

    2. Edit

It was a really relaxed place to spend a few hours and we sat chatting away drinking tea.

We tucked into smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches, plain and fruit scones, chocolate mousse pots, passion fruit cheesecake, walnut cake, lemon cake and a fruit tart.
