  1. Checkin at Coppa Club
    1. Edit

It was Tom's birthday and I'd booked us breakfast at Coppa Club at Tower Bridge to kick off our adventure.

    2. Edit

We were sat in a flower covered cabana with a gorgeous view over the Thames.

We could see Tower Bridge from our seats and even got to see the road lift up so that a tall ship could pass underneath.

The birthday boy had eggs Royale while I tucked into a waffle topped with maple syrup, berries, creme fraiche and bee pollen.

Our waitress surprised Tom with a slice of cake for his birthday at the end of our breakfast.

  2. Checkin at Booking Office

It was then time to head to St Pancras Station and wait for our Eurostar to Paris.

    2. Edit

We decided wait in the Booking Office, which is the bar of the Renaissance Hotel and old booking office for the station.

    3. Edit

The hotel was where the Spice Girls shot the Wannabe video and the architecture is beautiful.

Tom ordered the St Pancras Mule with vodka, berry liqueur and ginger beer. It was topped with a giant chocolate sphere filled with spirits.

I had a Purple Heart cocktail with vodka, lychee, lavender syrup and violet sugar. It was served with a burning twig of lavender which smelled amazing.

I loved how even the bollards in Paris are covered in art.

  5. Checkin at Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur

We dropped our suitcases off at the hotel and got dressed up in our fancy evening wear before heading out to explore.

  6. Checkin at Le refuge des fondus

I'd made reservations nearby at Le Refuge des Fondus, a super quirky fondue restaurant.

The walls were covered in foreign notes and to get to your seat, ladies have to step over the table. It was a little terrifying.

    4. Edit

Once making it safely to our seats, we were brought nibbles and punch.

We were then served wine in baby bottles which was free with our meal because they avoid glass tax.

Next the fondue arrived with piles of bread cubes to dip in it. It was lovely, creamy and really thick.

  7. Checkin at Café des 2 Moulins
    1. Edit

Afterwards we went to Café des 2 Moulins which is the cafe from Amelie and one of my favourite places.

    2. Edit

I always order the creme brulee as it's the most perfect one that I've had anywhere.

Of course I needed a Cosmopolitan to help me wash it down.

  8. Checkin at Le Moulin Rouge (Officiel)
    1. Edit

We then headed down to the Moulin Rouge which we'd been invited to see for CO+K.

    2. Edit

As we were their guests, Tom had to dress in black tie and we were rushed passed the queues and seated first. I've never felt so important.

The show was exactly as I imagined with lots of sparkles, feathers and dancing. It's definetly something everyone should see at some point.
