      Joe had a free day, so we decided to hang out and explore Hoxton.

      We started off our day with coffee and a smoothie at the Shoreditch Grind.

      We then headed to Naked Dough, who serve cookie dough you can eat raw.

      There were so many flavours to choose from, including Unicorn Poop, but we decided to go with half a scoop of Kinder Bueno flavour and half a scoop of peanut butter.

      It was delicious but so filling that we only managed to eat half the pot between three of us.

    We decided to walk it off with a walk around Old Street.

      We then wandered down along the canal to Kingsland.

      The HotTug floated past us with a party of people chugging along the canal in a hot tub.

      We then went for a wander around the Geffrye Museum.

      The Geffrye is the museum of the home and explores interior design through history, from 1600 to the present day.

  8. Checkin at Hoxton Street Monster Supplies

      Afterwards we went to the Hoxton Street Monster Supplies to shop for monster and zombie supplies.

      It's run by the Ministry of Stories Ministry of Stories, who also run The Boring Store that we visited in Chicago, hosting creative writing and mentoring for disadvantaged kids with the profit they make from the shop.

      You could buy anything from Fang Floss and Ear Wax Cubes to A Vague Sense Of Unease or Mortal Terror.

  9. Checkin at The Bach

      We perked ourselves up with coffee and lunch at The Bach afterwards.

      Tom and I shared a goats cheese sandwich.

  10. Checkin at Camden Town Brewery

      Jenny invited us to join her, Rin and other Jenny at Camden Town Brewery afterwards.

      It was a cool little space with a brewery at the back, taproom and courtyard where you could drink your beer and order street food.

      Tom had a tasting board so we could find our favourite beer.

  11. Checkin at unknown place

      We went for drinks at Knowhere Special afterwards, a speakeasy we had spotted by chance on our way to Kentish Town tube that specialises in cocktails paired with nibbles.

      Tom ordered the Save Our Soles with salted bourbon, scotch, rhubarb liqueur, BBQ peach and lemon-thyme syrup. It came topped with a sweet pie lid and a side of cherries and cream.

      I had a Friars Luck with rum, benedictine, yellow chartreuse, bitters and frankincense. It was served with salted chocolate and mini toffee apples.
