      We set off to Lower Marsh this morning and had coffee at Love & Scandal for breakfast.

      The coffee was really good and they had a huge vegetarian menu, so we'll have to come back to try the food soon.

    There was a mini classic car show taking place on the street so we walked up and down admiring them all.

      I couldn't resist popping into the I Knit London shop to look at their yarn and knitting books.

      There were some very cute puppies running around the shop. Everyone seems to bring their pets to work on Lower Marsh.

      We past by a Konditor & Cook bakery and I was curious to take a look as I have their cookbook.

      I got a mini lemon meringue pie.

    We then had tickets for to go and see The Art Of The Brick exhibition.

      Brick artist Nathan Sawaya is back with a new exhibition, featuring the World’s largest collection of Super Hero inspired LEGO artwork.

      Located just off London's South Bank, The Art Of The Brick: DC Super Heroes gives you the chance to get up close to your favourite DC characters as you've never seen them before.

      Built using almost 2 million bricks, the exhibition shows you just what's possible to make using LEGO if you're not afraid of getting creative.

      The fun begins as soon as you enter the exhibition, where sofas are set up to give you the perfect photo oportunity with a life-size brick model of the Joker.

      You're then led through a number of galleries, themed by different comic book series, or focusing on the good of DC's super-heroes or the dark side with super-villains.

      Featuring life-size sculptures of everyone's favourite super-heroes and super-villians, as well as recreations of comic book covers, environments, vehicles and arty interpretations of DC, there's so much to see.

      The exhibition ends everyone's favourite superhero Batman, an atmospheric recreation of Gotham City and a full-scale Batmobile made entirely out of LEGO.

      Running until the end of September, The Art Of The Brick is a great day out for LEGO lovers and comic book fans of all ages!

      Back in town, we went for ice cream macaron sandwiches at Yolkin.

      Our one was strawberries & cream flavour with the macaron designed to look like a tennis ball for Wimbeldon.

    We went for a wander through Soho afterwards.

  10. Checkin at Smack - Lobster Roll

      We went for dinner at Smack Lobster Roll where you can choose between a shrimp, shrimp & lobster or lobster roll depending upon how much you want to spend.

      I tried a classic shrimp & lobster roll and it was delicious. I loved the fried brioche bun.

      Afterwards we popped into Hummingbird Bakery to get some cupcakes to take home.

    2. Edit

      We got carrot, red velvet, Lotus bIscoff and salted caramel cupcakes.
