It was a gloomy evenig in London but we had dinner plans with Mark & Priscilla at Cubana in Waterloo, which was the perfect hideout from the rain.

It was Happy Hour, so we ordered jugs of Strawberry Daiquiri and Long Island Ice Tea.

I tried the Tortilla Cubana, an omelette with sweet potato and some Ceviche de Camarones shrimps.

After dinner, we darted down the rainy street to Scootercaffe, a cosy little coffee shop that becomes a bar in the evenings filled with old tube signs, candle-lit corners and a cat.

We then went to Vaulty Towers, an amazing pub filled with theatrical props including a giant silver moon, a treehouse you can sit in and a pair of giant hands above the door.

I had a lychee slushie cocktail which was delicious.
