Mum and Dad came down to visit for the weekend and we started off with breakfast at Vanilla Black where we had iced coffee, matcha lattes and custard starts.

I was getting distracted by the butterflies, who weren't technically farm residents.

  3. Checkin at Tamesis Dock
    1. Edit

We stopped off for a drink on the river and massive plate of chips to share at Tamesis Dock.

  4. Checkin at Regent Street
    1. Edit

We then popped into town to catch a bit of the Pride parade as it went down Regents Street.

    2. Edit

There was rainbow smoke billowing from one of the floats and bags of candy flying everywhere.

They were gorgeous with views over the city and giant skyscrapers towering above.

    4. Edit

At one side of the Crossrail Place there's an American food-court called Big Easy and at the other a street-food market called Big Robot.

    5. Edit

We had cocktails in Big Robot and admired the view before rushing off to our next stop.

    6. Edit

There was a very cute fluffy dog who didn't seem to be appreciating the heat very much either.

  6. Checkin at Foodies Greenwich
    1. Edit

We'd been offered free tickets with goodies bags at the Foodies Festival in Blackheath, so we jumped on the DLR and headed down for a bite to eat.

    2. Edit

We tucked into some tasty halloumi burgers to fill us up before our picnic later.

  7. Checkin at JAGS Sports Club
    1. Edit

Picturehouse had a pop-up outdoor cinema in Dulwich and I'd managed to get some free tickets, so we went along in the evening.

We sat in deck chairs and tucked into a tasty picnic while watching Back To The Future.
