    Pamela is down in London to see Green Day this weekend but arrived a few days early so that we could hang out.

      We started off with breakfast at London Grind which is right next to London Bridge.

      I started with a beetroot latte which was bright pink and only tasted slightly of beetroot.

      I then had a granola smoothie bowl and Pamela had some French banana toast topped with coconut cream.

  3. Checkin at Borough Market

      Afterwards we went for a look around Borough Market.

      We bought some booze infused cheese from Drunk Cheeses to have later with wine.

      We stopped off at Gelateria 3BIS to try some ice cream shots.

      I had the affogato shot with pistachio ice cream topped with a shot of espresso in a sprinkle cone.

      We headed into Soho afterwards and popped into Gosh! to browse the comics.

      Pamela got a copy of Lenore while I treated myself to the new Harley Quinn issue.

      There was a mini exhibition on the Ken doll at Machine-A, so we popped into see it.

      The small collection featured Kens from the decades including an MC Hammer Ken, gold medal winning Ken's and a robot Ken.

      There was even a hipster Ken with a top knot.

  7. Checkin at Lights of Soho

      There was a pop-up fizz festival at Lights of Soho, so we decided to check it out.

      The bar was covered in hundreds of amazing neon lights, so there was so much to look at.

      Upstairs was a little busy, so we made our way downstairs and found a cosy corner.

      We made ourselves comfy on a sofa shaped like a pair of lips and ordered a bottle of fizz served in a giant bucket.

  8. Checkin at Cutter and Squidge

      We then headed to Cutter and Squidge for cake.

      I loved their pegboard wall covered in plants and decorations. It reminded me of CO+K HQ.

      I had a chocolate and hazelnut oyster cookie which looked like something a Mermaid would eat.

      We'd read about an exhibition by Berlin artists designed to look like a TV station at Tenderpixel and popped in to check it out.

      It wasn't quite as described, so not what we expected, but there was a lot to look at.

      Pamela had been on the hunt for some cute hair clips when she found the perfect guitar shaped ones in strange.

      They also had an impressive collection of skulls including some sugar skull cats.

    We then headed back to Soho to do some shopping.

      Of course, our first stop had to be the Irregular Choice store.

      They had an amazing new pair with a New York theme and the Statue of Liberty on the front.

      We then popped into Choccywoccydoodah to check out their amazing creations.

      It was amazing to think that everything was made out of chocolate.

      I thought they were too beautiful to eat and a friendly cashier told me that you can preserve them with hairspray to keep them as ornaments.

  15. Checkin at Lomography Soho

      Our next stop was the Lomography shop to look at the cameras. I loved their flashing camera neon light.

      We then had just enough time before meeting Tom to check out We Built This City.

      I was supposed to be looking for a baby shower gift but ending up finding lots of things I liked.

      Pamela really wanted this oven mitt with vegan takes on band names.

  17. Checkin at The Old School Yard - Bar & Playground

      In the evening, we met up with Tom and headed to an arcade pub called The Old School Yard.

      It was a cool little bar filled with old school lockers, video games, retro toys and jars filled with marbles.

      It was Happy Hour so all the cocktails were £5 and themed by school subjects.

      I went for English and had the Robin & Marian cocktail with vodka and apple, while Tom ordered the largest martini I've ever seen.

      The real reason we'd come was because we heard they served pizza inspired by the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles and I've always thought their pizza looked the tastiest.

      We had the Michelangelo pizza with goats cheese, mushrooms and caramalised red onions.
