Today was the day of our big move to London and Tom had hired a van as big as our house to move all of our things.

The drive was pretty boring, apart from the discovery of the vegetarian breakfast croissan'wich from Burger King, until we got to drive across Tower Bridge when we arrived in London.

Our new home is in Kennington, in a converted victorian school which Charlie Chaplin once attended.

I love the old individual entrances for boys and girls.

There's also a lovely little communal garden with benches and BBQs. Bobbin will have fun exploring it.

Keys in hand, it was then time to move in all of our boxes and we got a couple of people from Task Rabbit to help us out.

I'll take proper photos of our house when we're all moved in but here are some from our estate agents.

I love how open it is and there's so much space. We're going to have lots of fun deciding where to put everything.

We celebrated the first night in our new place with dinner and a bottle of champagne.

It was only when it got dark that we realised there was a gorgeous view of the city from our upstairs window.
