    1. Edit

It was a bank holiday today, so Tom and I decided to head out and see what's new in Edinburgh.

Our first stop was Five Degrees on Barclay Place, which does breakfast, lunch, bubble tea and even a menu especially for dogs.

    4. Edit

We made ourselves cosy in the back room and tucked into our lunch. I had a mushroom quiche and lychee bubble tea with blueberry bursting bubbles, while Tom had a salmon bagel and coffee.

I spotted a ghost sign above the door on our way out.

  3. Checkin at Studio Flamingosaurus Rex
    1. Edit

Just across the road is Studio Flamingosaurus Rex which has to be the coolest named shop in Edinburgh.

    2. Edit

The shop had a great selection of art prints, clothes and pins.

I ended up getting a ouija board pin and a pot of gin & tonic lip balm.

We took a walk through the blossom filled Meadows afterwards.

  5. Checkin at Wayoo Juicery
    1. Edit

There's a new cafe in Marchmont called Wayoo Juicery, so we popped in to check it out.

    2. Edit

I tried the cocoa elixer, a dairy and sugar free hot chocolate and a raw chocolate brownie that the waitress told us she had invented by accident the day before.
